Ever wear a shirt where the decoration is in the shirt and not on top of it? That's sublimation! The sublimation process takes the special ink for decoration heats it up to a gas form and then is transferred into the garment it self. Only the ink transfers in which is the main reason for the texture feeling different from a heat press or silk screen application. Although there are limitations to what can be sublimated and what colors can be used - once that is sorted out the end product looks great and can last even under shoulder and chest pads!
